How do I get there from airports locally?
Get together with friends and share rentals and carpools.  We leave that up to you!

Are there Rental car agencies at all the airports?
Yes all Wisconsin airports feature onsite rental cars through most of the major national providers. Madison airport (MSN) offers: https://www.msnairport.com/parking_transportation/car_rental

Will I be able to walk from event to event?
The majority of the weekend events are within walking distance of one another. Circus World is a 4 min walk from the International Clown Hall of Fame which is located in downtown. The Al. Ringling theatre is a block from the Clown Hall of Fame and the Al. Ringling Mansion is a half a block from the Theatre. Walking from hotel options is possible if you are a robust walker; if not we encourage you drive or take a cab to the downtown area.

Is there Uber in Baraboo?
Unfortunately the Uber Gods have not blessed our city/area yet with their services.

Are there taxis in Baraboo?
Yes there is a taxi company in town. It is not a large fleet so plan trips in advance. The contact info is: Baraboo Taxi Service – 608-356-8300. We also have a rickshaw service in town Baraboo Tours Rickshaw Rides – 608-963-2821.

Is there City Buses in Baraboo?
No there are no city buses

I have kids – can they come to all events planned?
Yes this is a weekend to celebrate family.

Are meals planned for us?
There are three meals that we offer to registrants: Friday evening from 8 – 10pm free roll bash at Circus World. Saturday morning pre-parade pancake breakfast from 7 – 8:30am and a See you down the Road lunch at Circus World Sunday at 1:30pm.

Should we try to be in costume for the Grand Marshall part of the Parade?
Yes, we encourage all registrants to either wear their wardrobe or RBBB branded t-shirt, hat or jacket.

Will meals be provided for RBBB Alumni?
Only three meals over the weekend are provided (see question above). All further meals we leave you to explore the many restaurant opportunities of the Baraboo Area.

What are our housing options?

Can I park my RV at Circus World?
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate everyone with RV parking at Circus World. We do have very limited parking for any animal acts that might want to attend.

What will I get when I register onsite and where do I do that?
When you arrive into town you will likely already have registered in advance on our website. If you did not don’t worry you can in person when you arrive into town. All former RBBB staff and performers must pick up their reunion credentials at Circus World in the historic RBBB Elephant House at 426 Water Street. You will receive special commemorative credentials for you (and your family) that will allow them access to the weekend’s events. You will also receive a welcome bag that will include area info.

Other than the Parade – is there a way we can assist?
The main goal of the weekend is to celebrate our collective circus family and heritage. We hope you will enjoy the weekend activities. We will gladly accept offers of volunteer help for some events such as Hot Dog eating contest, oral history interviewing, and the theatre show.

Other than the parade – can I perform?
There are a few performance opportunities throughout the weekend. Pre-parade downtown, participating in the Sawdust & Spangles and Dreams show (both onstage and meet & greet opportunities), or strolling entertainment at Circus World.

Will I be able to buy AND sell memorabilia?

The Clown Hall of Fame will be operating a “Circus Swap Shop” in the physical studio space located next to the Al. Ringling Theater (and steps from the ICHOF and all downtown attractions.)

There will be all sorts of circus/clown/Ringling memorabilia for sale, including posters, books, photos, programs, dvd’s, and one of kind items. Gem City Amusements, Tegge Circus Archives, the Clown Hall of Fame and circus book dealers will setting up shop for sales and fellowship. This space will be open for business on Friday & Saturday from 9:00 to 5:00pm.

The Circus World Museum gift shop will also be open on the museum grounds during normal business hours during the entire event.

What are my expenses to attend?
There is no registration fee for the weekend’s events. You will receive complimentary admission to all Baraboo Circus attractions throughout the weekend with your registration credentials (you will receive these when you register onsite at Circus World elephant house. You will either have registered in advance or onsite the day of). Your travel, housing, souvenirs and some meals are your responsibility for the weekend.

There is an onsite ATM at Circus World and many around the downtown area.

What are the closest airports?

Milwaukee General Mitchel International Airport (MKE) – 1 hr 45 mins to Baraboo
Madison Dane County Airport (MSN) – 50 mins to Baraboo
Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport (MSP) – 3 hrs and 30 mins to Baraboo

Can I get to Baraboo by Bus Service?
Greyhound services Baraboo dropping off at M & G Travel Mart Shell (617 Pine Street Baraboo WI 53913).  This stop is both beside and across the street from the cities two largest hotels (Clarion and Best Western).
